How it is cut
We cut this cover to drape over soft carriers and hip seats without changing how the harness fits you. The outer shell uses a tightly woven polyester pongee that turns light rain and wind, paired with an open-weave sportswear mesh on the inside. A hood sits at the top, and deep pockets give your hands a place to rest.
Pongee shell and mesh
We pair an outer polyester pongee that sheds water with an airy multi-layer inner mesh. Air moves through the knit freely so the lining dries fast and does not stick flat when damp.
Two-way bottom zip
The bottom panel closes fully with a two-way zipper to hold legs inside or parts in the middle when you want feet free. You can open either side without taking the cover off the carrier.
Elastic straps and buckle
We sew elastic loops with oxford buttons at the shoulders to anchor onto carrier straps of any thickness. A back strap clips around your waist to keep the hem from lifting in a gust.
Packs into its bag
The entire cover folds into its own drawstring pouch once you unclip the sides. The pongee cloth shakes dry easily before you roll it down, and the whole piece goes through a cold machine cycle.
