How it is cut
We cut this carrier cover from wind-resistant polyester pongee and lined the whole interior with polar fleece. Snap straps fasten the piece over soft carriers, waist stools, or stroller frames. The hood detaches with ease when you switch between facing inward or out.
Detachable shaped hood
The hood snaps on or off depending on which way the carrier faces. We shaped the hood panels to sit over the head without slipping down into the face.
Two way bottom zip
Double zips run along the lower hem. You can leave the bottom closed tight or pull the sliders apart to let longer legs and boots rest outside the cover.
Hand pocket and pouch
A wide fleece pocket sits across the front panel so hands can rest inside. When not in use, the whole cover packs down into the small storage pouch we supply.
Outer cloth and lining
We sew the dark gray shell in tight pongee cloth to turn wind and damp weather, then back it with polar fleece. The entire piece goes through a cold machine wash.
