How it is cut
We built this folding potty around a hinged base that locks upright for use and folds down flat for travel. The seat ring has a soft sponge layer across the top, and the lid closes down to turn the piece into a low step stool. The frame is molded in white and gray.
Lid and liner pocket
The top lid lifts to open the seat and holds a supply of disposable bags directly inside the underside casing. You pull a fresh liner out from the lid without digging through a separate travel pack.
Padded seat ring
We set a sponge layer into the rim of the seat so the surface is not bare, cold plastic when a child sits down. The outer edge is rounded smooth all the way around the bowl opening.
Step stool top
When the lid is pressed flat against the base, the structure serves as a firm step stool. The flat top panel supports weight squarely across the molded legs without shifting or rocking on the floor.
Folding base
The support walls swing outward and lock into four vertical points for use, then tuck inward when not needed. The smooth plastic body wipes down with a damp cloth and warm water between stops.
