How it is cut
We sew this footmuff from dark gray pongee lined in faux sheepskin certified to OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100. The front zips right open or unfastens at the bottom panel when shoes need to poke through. Hook-and-loop harness slots sit along the back so stroller straps pass through without fuss.
Faux sheepskin and pongee
We face the exterior in water-repellent pongee and line the interior with deep-pile faux sheepskin. The zip runs behind a wide cloth welt so drafts do not slip past the teeth.
Harness slots and backing
Long hook-and-loop openings run down the back panel to match different stroller shoulder straps and crotch buckles. The underside is cut from textured anti-slip cloth to keep the seat layer settled.
Growth extension panel
A lower zip opens to let the foot section drop down longer. You can undo the bottom track entirely when muddy boots need to stay outside the fleece lining.
Folding flat for wash
The entire front panel unzips away so the piece spreads flat like a mat. When winter road grime gathers, run the whole piece through a cold machine cycle and hang it flat.
