How it is cut
We cut this handlebar muff from water resistant oxford cloth and line it with thick faux wool fleece. It wraps directly over the stroller bar, using rows of snap buttons to close around the tubing and stay in place. A clear zippered pocket sits across the top panel so you can see a phone screen without pulling your hands out into the wind.
Snap button closure
Row snaps close along the underside of the bar. You wrap the piece around the stroller handle, press the buttons shut, and slip your hands straight into the fleece interior without shifting the muff along the grip.
Clear zippered pocket
A clear window panel is sewn right into the top facing with a zip closure. It holds a phone flat against the top of the muff, letting you see the screen through the transparent film while keeping wind off the device.
Outer cloth and fill
We sew the exterior from black oxford weave that sheds rain and snow, backed by a lofty layer of hollow PES batting. Inside, thick faux wool fleece covers every surface your hands touch while pushing.
Washing and storage
The entire muff goes into the washing machine on a cold cycle when slush or road dirt spatters the outer shell. We include a fabric storage bag for packing the piece away once the cold season passes.
