How it is cut
Concentric silicone rings circle a central sphere to form a round, open shape. We molded distinct raised patterns across each green band, paired with sliding rattle rings that click together when shaken. The entire silicone body goes into cold storage or boiling water for routine care.
Molded silicone rings
Each green ring carries a different raised texture along its outer edge. The silicone stays pliable under pressure, while the wide diameter of the outer ring keeps the form resting flat across the palm during handling.
Built in rattle rings
Hard rings loop around the inner frame and slide freely along the silicone channels. They tap against each other to produce a quiet clicking sound whenever the piece turns over in a hand.
Central planet shape
The middle sphere anchors the open rings together into a balanced frame. Small fingers can hook through the gaps from any direction, holding the piece without slipping off the smooth center.
Washing and chilling
The silicone piece handles boiling water, steam cycles, and dishwasher racks once the rattle rings are unhooked. It can also rest in the refrigerator or freezer before use to chill the material down.
