How it is cut
We sew this stroller bunting bag with three distinct layers, pairing a dense polar fleece interior with a water-repellent shell. The two-way zip runs all the way around the foot box, so you can vent muddy boots out the bottom without unbuckling the rest. It fits over stroller harnesses and stays put when the frame folds.
Two-way perimeter zip
The front panel unzips from either end. You can open the bottom curve to let boots poke out into the air, or pull the main track down flat to lift your child straight out without disturbing the seat back.
Layered cloth and loft
We layer a water-shedding outer shell over a thick cotton batting and line the inside with soft polar fleece. The top edge folds over or pulls up around the neck with a covered chin flap over the zipper pull.
Harness slots and ties
The back panel features long hook-and-loop openings that allow standard stroller straps to thread through at different shoulder heights. Top tie-downs hold the upper hood against the stroller frame so the back does not slide down.
Washing and folding
The whole piece goes into the home washing machine on a gentle cycle and line dries without matting the fleece. You can leave it attached to the stroller seat when folding the frame down for storage.
