How it is cut
We build this folding tub with stiffened side walls and an air chamber along the upper perimeter to hold its shape when filled. The included hand pump fills the top ring quickly. When bath time is done, the side plug lets water out without tipping the basin, and the whole body folds flat for the boot or a closet shelf.
Inflatable upper rim
The soft top chamber fills with air using the supplied hand pump. It gives the rim a cushioned edge to rest against and holds the upper opening wide while water sits in the basin.
Stiffened folding walls
The side panels stay upright once unfolded, creating deep walls for bathing. When dry, the material collapses down flat so it packs into a suitcase or slots between luggage in the trunk.
Side drainage plug
We placed the drain hole on the lower side wall rather than the bottom panel. Opening the pull plug lets the basin empty directly into a shower tray without lifting the tub.
Green upgraded finish
The smooth green outer surface wipes dry with a towel after use. It stores flat in tight spaces and can be rinsed clean under a tap before folding.
