How it is cut
We build this dark gray bunting with a triple-layer shell, cotton fill, and thick polar fleece on the inside. The two-way zip opens all the way down, and the lower panel zips out when boots need extra room. It stays on the seat when the frame folds down.
Two-way front zip
The dual runner zip opens from the top to set the opening height, or from the bottom for quick shoe checks. A soft chin tab sits at the top pull so the metal stays covered.
Extendable lower panel
The bottom section unzips to add length along the foot area. It gives room for wet boots to poke out or tucks closed to keep the bottom seam flat against cold wind.
Harness routing and ties
Hook-and-loop openings along the back panel take three-point and five-point harness straps without rethreading. Top ties hold the back flat against the stroller seat back.
Washing and folding
The outer cloth sheds light rain and snow, while the whole piece goes into the home washing machine on a cold cycle. It folds flat along with the stroller frame.
