How it is cut
We build this folding tub with composite support panels encased in heavy white PVC so the walls stay upright when filled. The floor spreads out over a wide base plate with triangular side bracing. When bath time is done, the side plug pulls to empty the water, and the whole tub collapses down flat for the shelf or a travel bag.
Composite wall panels
Rigid composite boards sit inside sealed PVC seams to form the tub walls. The material handles hot water and cold rinses without warping, and the seams remain watertight through repeated folding.
Wide braced base
The bottom spreads across a broad base plate anchored by triangular corner bracing. The underside grips bathroom tile and tub floors so the basin remains planted while you wash.
Side drain plug
A rubber drain plug sits low on the side wall rather than under the child. Pull the tab to release the bathwater directly into your household drain without lifting or tipping the full basin.
Flat folding pack
The walls fold inward along predefined seam lines once the tub is dry. It collapses into a compact rectangle that slides into a closet, tucks behind a door, or packs inside luggage for trips.
