How it is cut
We line this footmuff with polar fleece over a lofted fill to hold its shape inside the stroller seat. The gray outer cloth sheds wind and light rain, while vertical back slots let harness webbing pass through flat. A two-way zip runs around the foot box so muddy shoes can hang free.
Quilted outer shell
We cut the outer shell from a dense gray weave that sheds drizzle and blocks wind. Wide quilting keeps the inner batting evenly spread across the front apron and foot box through repeated machine washes.
Polar fleece lining
Inside, we stitch deep-pile polar fleece right against the batting. The fleece covers the whole interior, running from the top hood down through the seat and toe well for a soft, quiet surface.
Harness opening slots
The back panel carries long vertical openings finished with hook-and-loop edges. Five-point harness straps thread through these openings without binding, letting the back of the bunting rest flat against the stroller seat.
Two-way perimeter zip
A long front zip travels around the entire apron and foot box. You can crack the bottom to let boots poke through or unfasten the top buttons to fold the chest flap down.
