How it is cut
We cut this gray footmuff with a lofted fill quilted between a woven outer shell and a thick polar fleece interior. The two-way front zip opens all the way down so boots can hang out or the top panel can peel back. Rear slots line up with standard harness straps.
Quilted fleece interior
We stitch a thick layer of batting between the woven gray face cloth and a brushed polar fleece lining. The quilting holds the loft in place across the footbox and the hood, so the fill does not shift during daily washings.
Two way front zip
The center teeth run around the perimeter and carry two separate pull tabs. You can unzip the bottom independently to let dirty soles poke out into the air, or part the top down the middle to fold the collar back.
Harness slot layout
The back panel carries long vertical openings finished with hook and loop closures. Shoulder straps and lap belts feed straight through the cloth and fasten to the buckle without extra fabric bunching behind the child.
Woven shell and pack sack
The exterior gray fabric sheds moisture and cuts the breeze. When the cold season ends, the whole piece rolls up tight into its matching drawstring storage bag, and the entire assembly can be run through a standard machine cycle.
