How it is cut
We stitch this bunting bag with a deep layer of down-alternative fill between a water-repellent shell and a soft fleece lining. The front panel unzips completely around the footbox or folds back with buttons when you step inside. The back has pre-cut harness openings with hook-and-loop closures that line up with standard stroller webbing.
Quilted shell and fleece
The light gray woven face cloth sheds wind and light wet weather over quilted batting. Inside, polar fleece runs from the head down to the toes.
Two-way perimeter zip
A pair of sliders travels the whole track. You can open just the bottom to pull muddy boots through, or undo both sides to lift the front panel off.
Harness pass-through back
We cut wide vertical slots backed with hook-and-loop flaps. The stroller straps thread through flat so the harness stays close without bunching behind the shoulders.
Wash and storage
The entire piece goes through a cold machine cycle and hangs dry without losing loft. When winter breaks, it packs down into its matching drawstring sack.
