How it is cut
We build this toy arch with jointed segments that bend across frames, cradles, and bouncers. Broad threaded clamps tighten onto the sides without tools. Soft elephant figures and rattles hang from fabric loops along the span, and the whole piece folds flat when you loosen the hinges.
Jointed arch frame
The inner spine uses hinged segments that flex forward or back to change the angle over a seat. You twist the joints by hand to adjust how low the hanging figures sit, and the frame holds that position until you reset it.
Threaded screw clamps
We fit both ends with wide jaws that tighten down using a textured turning knob. The plastic pads grip flat rails or round stroller bars without slipping, and they unscrew fully when you want to move the arch to another frame.
Hanging elephant figures
Each fabric piece hangs from a stitched strap across the central rib. We sew the elephant shapes with varied textures, smooth ribbons, and small rattle inserts, using double stitching along the seams so the pieces stay attached through daily handling.
Flat fold storage
Loosening the two side hinges lets the arch collapse in on itself into a compact bundle. The hanging shapes tuck between the folded segments, so the piece packs into a tote bag or slips under a stroller basket without taking up room.
