How it is cut
We cut this carrier canopy from an elastic, open-weave cloth that pulls over the frame without sagging. A fine mesh window sits under a fold-back flap on the front panel. You can draw the center zip down to reach inside while the elastic hem stays hooked around the base.
Mesh window and flap
A fine mesh insert lets air move through the front panel while the outer knit cloth rolls up above it. Hook and loop tabs hold the rolled flap out of the way, or you can drop it flat over the opening.
Front zip opening
The middle zip runs the length of the front panel so you can lift a child in and out without loosening the canopy from the rim. The outer shell stays fast to the carrier sides while the flap is open.
Stretch knit and straps
We use an open-weave polyester cloth with four-way stretch that pulls smooth over different carrier shells and stroller handles. Top buckle straps wrap around the carry handle to keep the fabric centered without shifting.
Machine wash care
The knit cloth and mesh panel run through a regular cold wash cycle without losing their shape. The fabric dries fast on a line, resists deep creases, and folds down flat into a diaper bag pocket.
