How it is cut
We sew this canopy from a light, stretchy polyester cloth with an open weave. It pulls over the carry handle and wraps the shell, held at the top by two buckle straps. A front zip lets you reach inside without pulling the whole piece off the seat.
Open-weave front panel
The pink cloth has an open knit that softens direct sun and cuts the breeze while letting air move through. A hook and loop tab pins the panel back when you want it open.
Fine mesh window
Under the main flap, we set a fine mesh panel. It gives you a clear line of sight to the seat and keeps flying bugs out without trapping heat under the canopy.
Front zip access
A long center zip runs down the front. You can open the canopy wide to lift your child in and out, leaving the elastic hem and top straps fastened to the seat.
Care and washing
The canopy shakes out flat and folds small enough to tuck into a pocket. When it gets dusty, wash it in cold water on a gentle cycle and hang it to dry.
