How it is cut
We bind this journal with a thick hardcover and matte coating that wipes clean of fingerprints. Gold wire coils sit inside the spine so the book opens flat on a table while you write. Guided pages leave room for notes, prints, and standard snapshot sizes.
Hardcover and spine
We wrap heavy board in a matte laminate cover with gold foil lettering across the face and spine. It holds its shape on a shelf and resists scuffs when handled often.
Twin wire binding
Large metal rings loop through each page so the book lays flat without pulling at the spine. The wider rings leave slack as you paste in photos and thicken the block.
Guided page layout
The interior paper is heavy stock divided into sections with spaces for written entries and glued prints. Animals mark the headings across a neutral palette.
Storage pockets
Dual-sided printed envelopes sit between sections throughout the book. These hold flat paper mementos, cards, and small keepsake envelopes without bulging the binding.
