How it is cut
We stitch this canopy from an open hexagonal mesh that lets air move through while closing off the seating space. Flexible resin ribs lift the mesh into a dome above the frame, and a wide elastic hem draws tight around the perimeter. The front zip splits from both ends so you can reach in without peeling the net back.
Arched resin ribs
Flexible support strips snap into an arch over the seat. They keep the mesh raised above the child rather than resting on the frame, holding room inside when wind picks up outdoors.
Two way front zip
The long center zipper runs both directions across the canopy. You can part the front panels wide to lift a baby in and out, or unzip a small section at the top without shifting the skirt.
Deep elastic hem
A gathered stretch edge pulls down and grips under the rim of a bassinet, infant carrier, or stroller seat. Adjustable tie straps wrap the frame below to anchor the lower corners in place.
Hexagonal honeycomb cloth
We cut the panels from rip resistant polyester mesh dyed in gray. The piece twists down into a flat circle, slips into its small carry bag for storage, and washes clean in cool water on a gentle cycle.
