How it is cut
We cut this canopy from dense hexagonal polyester mesh that admits breeze while holding off gnats and outdoor debris. Flexible PVC support strips are stitched into the upper seams to hold the fabric up off the seat area. The continuous elastic hem stretches over the shell, while a two-way zip opens straight down the center.
Hexagonal mesh cloth
The black polyester netting uses a dense honeycomb weave that resists snags from twigs. It lets fresh air pass through freely across the seat while keeping flying insects outside the enclosure.
Internal support ribs
Two flexible PVC strips are sewn directly into the arch seams above the seat. They spring into shape immediately, holding the net upward and open so the cloth does not sag inward toward the middle.
Two-way center zip
A long front zipper runs down the middle of the canopy. You can open the net halfway or draw both pulls back entirely to lift the baby out without peeling the elastic hem away from the frame.
Elastic hem and pouch
A wide elastic band runs the whole circumference of the skirt, paired with lower anchor straps that grip the base. When taken off, the netting packs down flat inside its own small travel bag.
