How it is cut
We formed this teether from soft silicone loops that cross over each other to make a flexible open sphere. A small rattle sits in the core while sliding rings move along the outer bands. Small hands can take hold from any angle.
Intersecting silicone loops
Molded food grade silicone bands cross over one another to form an open yellow ball. The structure flexes when squeezed and gives fingers plenty of thin, curved sections to hold or pass hand to hand.
Molded gum ridges
Each silicone strand carries raised bumps, ribs, and nubs along its surface. The varied molded patterns offer different textures across the yellow loops as the piece is turned around.
Rattle core and rings
A small capsule inside the center holds sounding beads that make a low rattle when the toy moves. Hard plastic rings slide along the outer silicone loops to add sound and movement.
Rinse and wipe
The solid food grade silicone and smooth plastic components can be washed under running water with mild soap. The open frame dries quickly on a rack after a rinse.
