How it is cut
We sew this canopy with a solid dark top panel on one side and a honeycomb open mesh on the other. Flexible POM ribs hold the dome up off the mattress so the netting stays clear of the interior space. An elastic skirt drops over the frame, and side straps cinch the slack down around smaller bassinets and strollers.
Split panel roof
One half is sewn from solid dark fabric to cut overhead light, while the opposite side is a fine honeycomb open mesh. Air moves through the net side while the solid panel shades the upper frame.
Arch support ribs
Internal POM support rods arch across the top to keep the canopy vaulted. The structure holds its shape without drooping into the sleep area, leaving clear headroom from edge to edge.
Two-way access zip
A long curved zip with two pulls runs along the front seam. You open either side or peel the middle wide without peeling the elastic hem off the bassinet rim.
Adjustable skirt straps
The perimeter finishes with a deep elastic channel and side pull straps. Cinch both straps to draw the hem tight against compact frames, mini cribs, or stroller carrycots.
