How it is cut
A travel bag cut wide enough to take an infant seat together with its anti-rebound base. We build the outer shell from heavy black oxford cloth and line the main panels with foam padding. An internal webbing strap clips across the frame to keep the seat from shifting while being carried.
Top pocket for the bar
We cut the upper compartment to fit over an extended anti-rebound bar on the base. When you travel without the base attached, the fabric tucks flat and acts as an extra pocket for loose items.
Dense foam panels
The bottom, top, and side panels contain thick foam padding sandwiched between the outer oxford cloth and the inner lining. This cushions the plastic shell of the seat during transit and handling at the gate.
Internal webbing strap
Inside the main cavity, we stitch an adjustable webbing strap with a side-release buckle. Drawing this strap tight over the seat body keeps the weight centered in the bag before you close the main zip.
Base feet and carry points
The bottom panel has molded rubber feet sewn on to keep the fabric off wet tarmac. We box-stitch padded grab handles to the top and side, and set a clear slot near the zip for an identification card.
