How it is cut
We built this folding seat for meals away from the kitchen table. The frame opens in one motion, fitted with a soft sponge cushion and an adjustable tray that slides forward or back. When dinner is done, the whole unit packs flat with a carry handle and shoulder strap.
The sponge cushion
We sew the removable cushion with a soft sponge core that wipes down after meals. It lifts right off the base so crumbs and spills do not sit in the corners of the seat.
The adjustable tray
The front tray slides into place along the armrests and adjusts forward or back. It unlatches completely when you want to wash it down in the sink or pull the seat up to a regular table.
Folding frame and strap
The rigid frame collapses down flat for transit. We fitted both a short carry handle and an adjustable shoulder strap so you can carry the packed seat over your shoulder on outings.
Three point harness
An adjustable three point harness anchors into the seat base and back rest. The webbing straps buckle across the lap and adjust smoothly through the side sliders as your child grows.
