How it is cut
We built this tub with folding support panels encased in heavy white PVC cloth. The walls hold their shape when filled, and a drain plug sits right on the lower side so water flows straight out into a basin or floor drain. When empty, the sides collapse inward and buckle flat for the car boot.
Side drain plug
We placed the drain port on the lower wall rather than underneath the floor. Pulling the plug lets the tub empty while it stays flat on the ground, so you do not need to lift or tilt a heavy basin of water.
Rigid support panels
Dense composite boards are sealed inside the outer fabric along the walls. They hold the upright form against the push of water and keep the top rim steady without needing any frame assembly before use.
Heavy PVC cloth
The tub is lined and faced with smooth white PVC that resists warm water. The smooth surface wipes clean with a damp cloth and dries quickly when hung up or leaned against a wall after use.
Folding side buckles
The structure hinges along set seam lines to fold into a compact block. Side buckles clip together over the folded panels, holding the bundle flat so it packs neatly into travel luggage or a closet shelf.
