How it is cut
We stitch this canopy from a fine hexagonal mesh joined to an overhead gray shade cloth. Flexible resin stays run through the seams to hold the arch upright without sagging into the seat. The whole piece pulls down over the frame and gathers tight along the bottom edge with an elastic cord.
Hexagonal mesh and shade panel
The gray shade cloth blocks direct overhead glare while the fine hexagonal mesh lets air move through the sides. We double stitch the join between cloth and mesh so the seam does not pull apart under tension.
Resin rib structure
Flexible resin strips sewn directly into the arch seams pop open on their own. They create a firm dome over the stroller seat, keeping the mesh held up and away from hands and feet.
Two way front zip
A long central zip runs down the middle panel. You pull the twin sliders apart to reach inside without undoing the elastic base or pulling the whole cover off the stroller frame.
Gathered elastic hem
The wide elastic hem stretches around the outer rim of a stroller, bassinet, or car seat shell. It snaps back flat when folded, tucking into its own small travel bag for storage.
