How it is cut
We cut this piece to pull directly over the outer frame of an infant car seat without threading behind the harness. The outer shell is woven Sydney spinning fabric that sheds light moisture, lined with thick coral fleece certified to OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100. A double zipper runs the perimeter of the apron for quick access.
Elastic outer hem
We sew a gathered elastic band around the full perimeter of the skirt. It stretches over the plastic rim of the carrier and grips underneath, leaving the back of the harness undisturbed against the seat shell.
Two way front zip
The long coil zipper runs around the top panel so you can open the foot area separately or remove the entire apron. The child goes into the seat without taking the main cover off the carrier rim.
Fold back collar flap
The top edge buttons up high around the carrier opening or folds down flat against the chest. When folded, it fastens to side buttons so the cloth stays clear of the face while resting or riding.
Plush fleece and wash
We line the inside with high loft coral fleece for softness through cold weather. The whole cover detaches from the carrier frame and goes into the washing machine on a gentle cold cycle, drying flat.
