How it is cut
We cut this cover to slip over the rim of an infant carrier from the top, leaving the internal harness untouched. The outer shell is woven Sydney spinning that sheds water, backed with thick coral fleece certified to OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100. A double zipper runs the length of the top panel so you can peel it open without disturbing the carrier.
Elastic rim skirt
The gathered skirt pulls down around the outer rim of the seat shell and stays put without ties. Nothing sits behind the child, so the seat harness rests flat as intended.
Buttoned fold back flap
We set buttons on the upper chest panel so you can pin the collar down when stepping indoors. Unfasten them to pull the collar high against wind, or fold it back to free small hands.
Full perimeter zipper
The front panel unzips from both ends and pulls off the carrier entirely. You can open the foot area to check shoes or remove the whole top piece to use as a flat fleece blanket.
Washing the fleece
The inner coral fleece holds its loft through normal machine wash cycles. We recommend a cold wash on a gentle setting, followed by line drying to keep the outer shell water repellent.
