How it is cut
We stitch this cover to drop over the infant carrier from above, gathered at the rim with an elastic skirt. The shell sheds drizzle while the inner Berber fleece adds loft. A front zipper runs down the middle so the top panel folds open while the base stays hooked around the frame.
Adjustable collar buttons
The upper flap folds back and buttons down to stay open, or fastens upright around the carrier opening when the wind picks up. It gives room around the shoulders without shifting the rest of the piece.
Berber fleece lining
We line the inside with high-loft Berber fleece and face the outside in woven polyester that repels water. The fabric is certified to OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100. It washes on a gentle cycle and dries flat.
Two-way front zipper
The center track opens from the bottom when you need to reach small boots, or parts all the way around so the front panel lifts off entirely. The child moves in and out without loosening the outer elastic.
Side and bottom slots
Vertical hook-and-loop openings along the sides pair with two lower base slots to fit around carrier handles and anchor points. Nothing sits behind the child, leaving harness paths unobstructed.
