How it is cut
We cut this cover to slip over the rim of an infant car seat like a shower cap. The outer polyester shell sheds light moisture while the inside is lined with dense coral fleece. A full front zip lets you reach inside without removing the cover from the seat frame.
Elastic outer hem
We sew a continuous elastic cord into the outer channel. It pulls over the edges of the car seat shell to hold the cover in place without passing behind the harness straps.
Coral fleece lining
The inside face is sewn with a thick coral fleece that holds its loft after machine wash cycles. It meets OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 specifications.
Fold back collar
Buttons along the top edge hold the collar open when you want the face area clear. Unbutton the flap to draw the fabric higher across the top opening.
Full length front zip
A long central zip runs from the collar to the foot area. You can unzip from the bottom to adjust airflow or remove the entire top panel to use as a small blanket.
