How it is cut
We cut this cover to stretch over the rim of an infant car seat without interfering with the harness underneath. The outer shell is a woven cloth that sheds rain, backed with plush coral fleece for cold mornings. A two way zip runs the length of the front face so you can open the cover without taking the elastic skirt off the seat.
Elastic rim cut
A gathered band wraps the underside of the seat rim. It slips over the carrier handle and stays down along the sides, leaving the interior space free.
Zip off top panel
The front panel unzips down both sides or comes off entirely. You can fold down the collar using the side buttons or lay the panel flat for a floor blanket.
Plush coral fleece lining
Inside, we line the shell with coral fleece certified to OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100. It adds soft loft across the chest and feet without extra bulk under the back.
Cold water wash
The entire cover goes straight into the washing machine on a gentle cycle. The outer fabric dries quickly on a line and the fleece keeps its texture.
