How it is cut
We sew this cover to stretch over the rim of an infant carrier like a cap. The outer black cloth turns wind and light drizzle, while resin cotton batting adds body across the main panel. Nothing sits behind the child, and the front unzips from top to bottom when you step indoors.
Elastic hem fit
A wide elastic band runs the whole circumference of the skirt to pull over the shell rim. Adjustable nylon side buckles hold the tension in place without shifting on the seat frame.
Dual layer front flap
The outer flap folds back and fixes with hook-and-loop tabs to expose a fine mesh panel. You can drop the solid cloth down when wind picks up, or roll it up entirely.
Two way front zip
A long front zip runs down the middle panel. You open it partway to check inside or pull both sliders down to lift the baby straight out without peeling the cover off the carrier.
Plush inner lining
We line the interior with dense crystal velvet stitched over resin cotton fill. The entire piece goes into the washing machine on a cold gentle cycle and dries flat on a rack.
