How it is cut
We cut this cover to stretch over the rim of an infant carrier like a shower cap. The outer face is cationic woven cloth with resin cotton batting inside and a smooth crystal velvet lining. A central zip runs down the front so the carrier stays dressed while you reach inside.
Elastic hem and buckle
An elastic hem wraps the outer lip of the carrier. We added an adjustable buckle underneath that tightens around the shell so the skirt stays seated when pulled over stroller frames.
Two layer front window
The outer flap rolls back to expose a fine mesh panel underneath. Hook and loop tabs pin the top flap back for clear air, or you can drop it down flat when the weather turns wet.
Three layer build
We sandwich resin cotton fill between the outer cationic fabric and a soft velvet interior lining. The outer face sheds drizzle and cuts wind, while the inner pile rests soft without extra bulk.
Care and machine washing
This dark gray shell goes into the wash on a cold cycle. We recommend line drying or a low tumble to keep the loft in the middle batting and preserve the shape of the elastic border.
