How it is cut
This cover stretches over the carrier rim like a shower cap, leaving the underside open so nothing sits behind the child. We use a cationic outer cloth backed with resin cotton fill and soft crystal velvet. A two-way front zip opens wide for access without pulling the cover off the frame.
Cationic outer and loft
The outer shell is a woven cationic cloth that sheds rain and blocks drafts. Beneath it, a layer of resin cotton adds loft without excessive bulk, paired with a plush crystal velvet lining along the inner face.
Shower cap elastic hem
The perimeter uses a deep elastic channel that draws down over the shell of the carrier. Nylon buckles adjust the tension along the sides, holding the shape in place over the carrier rim and handle attachments.
Mesh window and flap
A fine mesh insert sits above the front panel to keep light and insects out while allowing clear visibility. When wind picks up, the solid front cloth flips up over the mesh and fastens with hook-and-loop tabs.
Front access zip
The long front zipper runs down the center panel so you can reach in for quick checks. Unzip partially to adjust blankets, or open it down to the foot area to lift the child out directly.
