How it is cut
We cut this shower-cap cover to slip over the rim of an infant car seat carrier without running fabric behind the harness. The outer shell is a dark gray cationic weave backed by resin cotton fill and soft crystal velvet. A center zip and fold-back flap let you reach inside while the outer skirt stays put.
Elastic hem skirt
The deep perimeter hem is threaded with wide elastic and nylon buckles. It pulls down over the outer carrier rim so the back remains open and nothing sits behind the harness straps.
Cationic shell and velvet lining
We pair a woven cationic outer face with resin cotton fill for loft. Inside, a soft crystal velvet lining sits against the cabin area, shedding light moisture and cutting drafty air on windy walks.
Dual mesh side vents
