How it is cut
We cut this light gray canopy to pull over the outer shell of an infant carrier. The elastic skirt gathers around the perimeter while the harness remains entirely against the child. A long front zip runs down the centre so the panel folds wide open without slipping off the seat.
Cationic outer shell
We build the outer face from woven cationic cloth filled with resin cotton. It sheds winter moisture, blocks drafty air, and holds its loft through repeated laundering without matting.
Crystal velvet lining
The inner side is lined in soft crystal velvet that stays smooth against blankets. It adds a dense layer of warmth without adding bulk behind the child or interfering with carrier straps.
Dual mesh side vents
Two side panels use an open nylon weave to allow airflow into the carrier. Hook and loop tabs pin the vents in place, keeping the cloth off the child while the front remains closed.
Full front zip
The centre zip runs the length of the top panel. You can drop the flap partway down for quick checks or open it completely to lift the baby straight out of the seat.
