How it is cut
This cover pulls over the rim of an infant car seat like a shower cap. We sew the outer shell from gray sydney spinning cloth that sheds light rain, lined inside with berber fleece. Materials are certified to OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100.
Elastic rim fit
The outer edge carries a continuous elastic band that grips the plastic frame of the carrier. Nothing sits behind the child, and the piece stays in place without interfering with the harness paths.
Two way front zip
The front track opens from the bottom as well as the top. You can free muddy boots or lift the whole front panel away, turning the top face into a flat blanket when unzipped.
Fold back flap
We set snap buttons along the collar so the upper flap pins back out of the way. When closed, it buttons high across the front to block wind, and unfastens quietly when you move inside.
Lining and laundering
The interior is thick faux wool berber fleece that holds loft through the wash. The whole piece comes off the carrier in one pull and goes straight into a standard machine cycle on cold.
