How it is cut
This cover pulls over the rim of an infant car seat like a cap, leaving the harness unaltered underneath. We cut the shell from a water-shedding woven cloth and line it with heavy Berber fleece, certified to OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100. A two-way front zip lets you reach inside without lifting the skirt.
Elastic skirt and slots
The deep elastic hem stretches over the shell of the carrier. Side and bottom hook-and-loop openings accommodate the carry handle and harness pass-throughs, holding the shape seated over the seat rim.
Two-way front zip
Our zipper runs the length of the front panel. You can open it from the base to check shoes or vent air, or unzip the panel fully to lift the child out without pulling the cover off the seat.
Fold down collar
The top collar buttons back against the chest panel when you want the face open. Unbuttoned, the fabric stands upright around the head space to block draft across the top of the carrier.
Berber fleece and care
The inner face is a high-loft Berber fleece matched to a black woven outer shell. The entire piece unzips flat for the washing machine, then dries on a line without losing its loft.
