How it is cut
We cut this cold weather cover to stretch over the rim of an infant car seat without touching the harness. The outer shell is dark gray polyester backed with deep-pile Berber fleece. A long front zip runs down the center so you can reach the child without pulling the hem off the shell.
Adjustable collar flap
The top collar folds back and buttons flat against the front cloth, or flips up higher when the wind picks up. The buttons keep the flap anchored so it does not drop back into the seat.
Center zip and base
The front zipper opens from either end. You can unzip the bottom corner to check boots or pull the whole top panel away to use as a small lap blanket. The entire piece goes through a cold machine cycle.
Outer cloth and fleece
The dark gray outer polyester sheds slush and rain, while the inside is lined with high-loft Berber fleece that holds warmth. Materials used across the panels are certified to OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100.
Shower cap elastic hem
A continuous elastic band runs the outer perimeter to hug the carrier edge. Side and bottom slots accommodate carry handles without shifting the main body of the cloth.
