How it is cut
We cut this cover to slip over the rim of an infant carrier like a shower cap. The dark gray outer cloth repels water, while thick berber fleece lines the inside. Nothing goes behind the back or under the harness straps. The center panel unzips down the middle for quick access.
Elastic hem perimeter
A continuous elastic channel runs the entire outer edge. It stretches out over the carrier shell and snaps inward around the plastic rim, holding the fabric taut without relying on ties or buckles.
Fold back collar
Buttons hold the top collar open when you want the face clear. Buttoned up, the fleece rolls close around the head opening to block drafts across the upper chest.
Two way front zip
The long center zipper opens from either end. You can unzip the bottom section to reach boots without undoing the top, or zip the front panel off entirely for washing.
Lining and outer cloth
The exterior is smooth dark gray polyester that sheds wet weather, paired with high loft berber fleece inside. The materials are certified to OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 and wash flat in the machine.
